SModcast is the meandering palaver of a pair of dudes whose voices are so dull, they don’t deserve to be on the radio (and, hence, aren’t). Kevin Smith and Scott Mosier are SModcast. The best thing about SModcast? It don’t cost nothing.

Anybody else think that Scott’s dying 12-year-old sounds like Dr. Evil?
Smodcast: an acting school run by psychotic 14-year-old boys, funny psychotic 14-year-old boys.

Long time listener, first time posting. I have to say I can’t listen to this smodcast while walking down the street, I was fucking laughing so much people looked at me as if I was crazy.
Comment by Pablo — July 8, 2008 @ 3:28 pm
Kevin, you only find the “patriarchal” rules of societies confusing because your feminist wife taught you it was an arbitrary decision made a few hundred years ago. Your wife is attracted to patriarchy, and male control, whether she chooses to acknowledge it or not.

This smod just made me realize that Smodcast hasn’t been very funny since the beginning of the year. Finally, we get another funny one though. Well done. It wasn’t “your best ever” or anything, which I’m sure you know. I like it though. THANK YOU.

This is in my top five.
My favorite will always be “Harry Scotter and the Order of the Penis”, only because I’m such a, as Kevin simply put it, ‘Potter Fag’.
My other favorite being the the lastest Walt one.
:]
Comment by April B. — July 12, 2008 @ 2:48 am
Yep, this episode was one of the best. I was ‘lol-ing’ the whole time!
Comment by Mark — July 12, 2008 @ 1:27 pm
Kev I’m surprised who haven’t said anything in SModcast about the late, great, George Carlin. I figured you would mention something about working with this amazing man.
Comment by Justin — July 12, 2008 @ 1:33 pm
It helps me get through my day at work thanks Kevin and Scott
Comment by Ben — July 12, 2008 @ 3:23 pm
All SModcasts are worth listening to, but this one was especially hilarious. More entertaining than many things I’ve paid for

Comment by NathanM — July 14, 2008 @ 10:07 am
Hands down, this was the funniest Smodcast in recent memory. You guys have officially gotten back on the horse. The part where Scott spontaneously became the hellspawn and screamed and laughed so hard I cried. Nice job!
Comment by Aceles — July 17, 2008 @ 6:14 pm
Kevin …. you are sooo gay … At the drop of the hat … you go for the gay joke…. lol … it’s just weird… I know you are not but … jezz or in your case jizzz….
Comment by JT — July 18, 2008 @ 12:09 pm
i’d become a believer if we could get 50 foot scott mosiers
Comment by Mal — July 20, 2008 @ 8:28 pm
That was the most wonderful Smod ever. I blew coffee all over my keyboard during the Make-A-Wish segment.
Wouldn’t this be an awesome sequence for a movie?
Comment by Art — July 29, 2008 @ 12:14 am
I love it when Mos has finally had it. This is the best SModcast in ages (and they’re uniformly great). KS is so (awesomely) retarded. I love it when he gets all fuckin focused on something so completely preposterous and simply WILL NOT let it go. Amazing. Wow.
I could tell that Kev was trying to build up an exhaustive case constructed out of all these piled-on, outrageous circumstances to try and break Scott down so that he’d finally say “OK, OK, I’ll watch just to shut this guy up” just so Kevin could go “dude, you’re totally gay!”
WTF – “Daddy’s gonna kill you a hobo and I’m gonna bring back the heart”.
Thank you
Comment by Stankerdoodle — August 20, 2008 @ 2:47 pm
Best Smodcast yet. I laughed outloud the entire cast. Thanks.
Comment by Katie P — September 4, 2008 @ 11:33 am
I do notice that in Kevin’s hypothetical world, the slightest variation from the norm plunges a person into a world of rampant gayness. It’s insane…lol…
Walt clones himself, the clone will want a handjob…car accident or dying in a hospital…they want a gay handjob.
This is a bizarre recurring theme, reaching its most hilarious zenith in this episode.
Thanks, guys…and thanks, ThinkGeek.com!!
I, too, would love to hear what Kev would’ve done if he’d been offered a story in “Four Rooms”!
Comment by Sean — September 12, 2008 @ 9:38 am
Hooray for Think Geek sponsorship. I’ve been a customer of theirs for years.
It’s awesome to hear that they’re the new sponsor of my favorite Audio Podcast: Smodcast.
Now I’ll just have to make sure to click on your links here before I go there to buy things.

My brain couldn’t get past people driving by hollering “YOU’RE UNFUCKABLLLLLLE!!!
to Scott because he car was dented. LMAO!!!!!!
Comment by Kim M. — November 7, 2008 @ 12:37 am
hmmm. makes me wonder how kev can hate on dnd when he so obviously loves to role play?
maybe if the campaign / world wasnt actualy fantasy shit, but a modern setting. it’s done all the time.
