What happens when two young men let their love of movies, comic books, and all things “geek” take over their lives? They run away from their families, bringing only the most essential DVDs and comics to their secret, highly fortified underground bunker in sunny Southern California, where they start recording podcasts that will change the world.

Are they heroes?

No.

Are they geniuses?

Far from it.

Are they the future of this planet?

I sure hope not.

Simply put… Matt Cohen and Jesse Rivers are “Bagged and Boarded”.

X-Men Noir is actually really good, at least the issue I’ve read of it. Spider-Man Noir is cool too.

That commentary you do has to be on the Pokemon movie, though. I want to hear Jesse suffering through it. Also, there are something like 500 species now, they’ll never beat the original 150, though, except the shit sparrow one.

  2. Herles Says:

Bitches don’t know bout mah Pachirisu.
Great podcast as always, guys. Can’t wait for the next one.

  3. laharl Says:

man i would love to hear Matt’s pokemon idea. I think its an amazing concept with a lot of potential if people can just get past the “its for kids” mentality.

  4. Tyler Says:

Theres a famous scene in Desperately Seeking Susan (at least i think thats the right movie) where Madonna is in a bar listening to a Madonna song.

In fact, I’m pretty sure i read that in an article about Deadpool and breaking the fourth wall. It all comes back to comics….

Wuddup Matt and Jesse! Long time listener first time poster, just wanted to give a shout out to ya for making a true pod for all the FANS of the world! Ya’ll make a 10 hour work night a breeze! Keep up the humor ya’ll and don’t delve into too much bullshit casts like SMod has lately (no offense to Kev, still love it, just think he is not very functional on pot:) )! Can’t wait for work to listen to this one! Peace Out!

Awesome podcast as always!! It was a very cool way to unwind after a hectic week of classes. A couple people asked what I was laughing at in between classes in the college union and I gave them copies. Keep up the excellent work!!

  7. Metshawk Says:

Hattie McDaniel was the first African-American to win an Oscar, but she wasn’t allowed to go to the ceremony.

  8. Ian Says:

Holy Wahjah moment Matt. I just felt the embarrassment seething through the microphone into my headphones. Singing Pokemon songs? I watched the show and played the game when I was 12, and the song sure as hell is still burned in my head, but singing it in public? Jesus…… Anway keep up the good work.
