Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.

Actor/comedian/raconteur Dana Snyder, you’re certainly aware, is Aqua Teen Hunger Force’s Master Shake, Squidbillies‘ Granny, Minoriteam’s Dr. Wang, and The Venture Bros.‘ Alchemist. Available for weddings and bar mitzvahs (bat availability pending), you can keep tabs on him via his website, www.eyeofthesnyder.com.

Ken Plume is the editor-in-chief here at FRED. He is a friend of Dana’s, as well as his arch-nemesis.

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #62: Kiss My Grits – Ken & Dana return with a trip down trivia lane, advise one and all on the art of tipping, and rather heatedly discuss fast food pronunciation.

  4. Also Ken, you may already have checked this, but Christopher Lloyd played John Bigboote. It’s weird you mention it, i just watched it again yesterday.

  7. I say “Mic” Donald’s only because around here we often say “Mickey D’s” and to keep posterity I keep the sounds the same. I’m sure ken will correct me somehow on this post, you king of nit pickers!

  8. The Mic or Mac dilemma depends on whether it’s a boy or a girl.
It’s all based on the Irish language and I can tell you about it the next time you’re bored and fancy a chat

  9. I am currently working on a design for a Snydecast t-shirt that I will silkscreen myself. It will incorporate the “we can certainly discuss this off mic” slogan from Plumey. Now that I’ve said this however, I will probably let it fall to the wayside like all of my ambitious dreams.

    Great Snydecast!

  11. So what is that piece of wood on your desk? Balsa, bass wood, or a veneer of oak?

    Comment by Rox of Spazhouse — October 1, 2008 @ 7:45 am

  12. Richard Karn was the guy from Home Improvement.

I vote for “we’re gonna rectify that before the next podcast” as the slogan.

    Blessed be! ~gerry
