Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.

Actor/comedian/raconteur Dana Snyder, you’re certainly aware, is Aqua Teen Hunger Force’s Master Shake, Squidbillies‘ Granny, Minoriteam’s Dr. Wang, and The Venture Bros.‘ Alchemist. Available for weddings and bar mitzvahs (bat availability pending), you can keep tabs on him via his website, www.eyeofthesnyder.com.

Ken Plume is the editor-in-chief here at FRED. He is a friend of Dana’s, as well as his arch-nemesis.

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #59: Episode IV – A New Outfit – It is a period of civil war. The Duck and The Reverend go road trippin’ through the slums of Atlanta to find clothes and some Christian chicken. Along the way they play iPod roulette and make fun of the many places of worship that they pass…

  1. This is the first Snydecast I had to turn off. I lasted about 40 minutes and couldn’t take it anymore. This was completely phoned in. Please don’t insult your listeners by recording any boring conversation you can and posting it.

  2. Didn’t feel phoned in but there was a definite sense of awkwardness there. Literal (on the) roadtrip-casting seems like a novel idea in theory but the execution leaves a lot to be desired.

  3. This would be much better if The Duck and The Reverend went out on the streets and interviewed several “Church Folks”

  4. After Ted’s comment I can’t wait to hear this one! I love the boring stuff! It makes my life seem more colorful!
I am DL’ing now and it is slow. What’s up with that?
Can’t wait to hear it at work tomorrow!

  5. Well i guess thats the beauty of podcasts, if you don’t like it, you can turn it off. I personally liked it, but I’m a Slut.

  6. how come dana never does podcasts by himself and another guest? im gonna try to leave a positive comment for you: even though we missed dana, i like how you try to keep the podcasts weekly no matter what! you seemed a little more comfortable which is rare. but you and dana make a great team so we cant wait til we get back to the normal podcasts! thanks for trying ken! 🙂

  7. Wow. vicky said “Thanks for trying Ken!”
TRYING! WTF. Ken, it was great! Even music in the background! Also, you did a podcast WHILE DRIVING!
Oh, and vicky, I think, and I could be wrong, but,
I think, Dana never goes solo because its
    the KEN P (D Snyder)… cast. It’s not Dana’s.
    Like SModcast. Smith (Mosier)… cast.
Mosier never goes solo. It’s not Scott’s.
    Love always, gerrrmmmmm
