cabin.jpgOh no! Just when you thought it was safe to hang out at the Quick Stop…

Cabin Fever (hosted by the twisted souls Brian Fitzpatrick and Aaron Poole) is the result of having too much time on your hands and access to your local community radio station.

Over the course of an hour, they manage to trawl the depths of good taste, plus throw some music in. How much more could you want from a podcast?… Quality? Oh… we didn’t think of that.

Enjoy! And we hope our cross Atlantic friends can understand the Irish accent 😉

Hugs and Kisses,
Aaron P. + Rev. Fitzy

CABIN FEVER #30: Oration Sensation – In a shock to everyone’s system, the boys return for the second week in a row. This week they tackle such serious and pressing issues as teen pregnancy, racism, and 5 foot tall bronze enemas. You wouldn’t have it any other way. To keep your toes tapping, Marner Brown and The MattLees Band play some dulcet tones.

  2. I’ve played a game kinda like Blowjob Hero once. It was called “50 Cent: Bulletproof.” Heard of it? And happy birthday Mr. Plume, if you happen to see this.

  3. You guys had one of the best quick discussions on racism in recent memory for two simple reasons: you didn’t censor yourselves with “n-word” and you had that detached European perspective (they probably go hand in hand). I know that you Irish have weathered your share of racism (old English shop/pub signs that would read “No Irish, No Blacks, No Dogs”) but it was refreshing to hear that you guys at least have the perspective to enjoy it. If you can’t enjoy a joke about stereotypes, you don’t really understand comedy…

BTW, Rev. Fitzy was all sensitive and practical about racism and then drops the G-bomb i.e. “gypped”. WTF? I’m gonna release the carrier pigeon and inform the Gypsies in the area to whomp yer portly bottom! Beware the next knock on your door!

Great show guys, please maintain the lack of suck…

    Tah and cheers! ~gerry

  4. Wow, thanks Gerry!
I’m glad we didn’t come across as assholes (sometimes I worry)

I never personally put 2+2 together with “gypped” to realise it was about gypsy’s. I must remember to be aware of that one in future. Although after our “pikey” rant on another episode I doubt it matters now.

Thanks to everyone for downloading this week!

  5. Huh, I had no idea that gypped was a derivative of gypsy. Then last night I used the term and someone called me a racist before explaining it to me. I’m going to use it even more now. I effing hate gypsies! 🙂
