Agree w/ SmodFanRobby, Mosier was definitely on fire this episode – I had someone in the car with me while listening and though I can’t remember exactly what prophetic Mosier utterance was being said but by buddy nodded and said “damn, these guys are good – you gotta show me how to get this Podcast stuff setup.”
On an aside did anyone else think Mosier’s mic was a little hot and Kevin’s was a little soft? I never have had the urge to repeatedly mess with the volume in the midst of a smodcast as I did with #51.

I don’t remember there being a Brady Bunch episode where one of the characters was born on a leap year, but I do remember it was the central plot of an episode of Wings. In the episode Roy Biggins celebrated his 12th birthday at a Chuck e Cheese type restaurant. I don’t know if remembering that episode is impressive or embarrassing.

Kev, Knowing what a fan of musicals you are I was surprised you didn’t reference The Pirates of Penzance. The basic story line is that a child is sent to apprentice for a group of Pirates until his 21st Birthday, unfortunately he was born on a leap year and is only 7. It may not be The Brady Bunch but there is a leap year reference for ya.

thats nothing its 6am here in merry ole england, i got work in 4 hours, and i’m not awake now cos i got up early, i stayed up all night and i spend the whole week listening to collings and herring podcast to pass the week, which is rather good and would recomend as a sub for waiting 🙂
and no i don’t work for them lol

kevin, scott, hilarious shit so fucking funny.I could listen to you guys talking about whatever forever.This is my fist time commenting.I’ve got all of your smodcast on cd so that i can enjoy them where ever i may be at the time.I also have to comment on Walt, i don’t know if he relizes it but he is a comedic genious. more waltcasts! also looking foward to the evening with kevin smith 3.can’t wait for the new movie ,oh yeah one more thing before i sign off when are you and scott going to do more commentary on other peoples movies?The commentary you guys did on the “roadhouse” dvd was some of the funniest shit i have ever heard! I’d almost say that Downfall is a challenge to people who uncompromisingly hate hitler, because for all of his fucked up shittiness, he’s completely human in the movie. Actually, a lot of people criticized it because they felt it humanized (and therefore, sympathized with) hitler and the rest of the nazi party too much. I think that’s the best part about it. It reminds us that they weren’t monsters, they were people. That’s scarier to me.
