cabin.jpgOh no! Just when you thought it was safe to hang out at the Quick Stop…

Cabin Fever (hosted by the twisted souls Brian Fitzpatrick and Aaron Poole) is the result of having too much time on your hands and access to your local community radio station.

Over the course of an hour, they manage to trawl the depths of good taste, plus throw some music in. How much more could you want from a podcast?… Quality? Oh… we didn’t think of that.

Enjoy! And we hope our cross Atlantic friends can understand the Irish accent 😉

Hugs and Kisses,
Aaron P. + Rev. Fitzy

CABIN FEVER #24: Brand Spanking New – Aaron and Brian finally get back on track. With their shiny new equipment arriving, they start recording a brand spanking new episode, their first in nearly a month. Australians, mummies, dragon cartoons, the Champions League Final, the awesomesauce(TM) that is Father Ted and other assorted unimportant subjects get the usual treatment, as well as other crap that is unfit for community radio. It feels good to be back!

    A few things:

A body doesn’t have to be a full on Egyptian mummy to be mummified. Any well preserved body is considered mummified.

Eros is the Greek version of Cupid. Or rather, Cupid is the Greek version of Eros, as the Greeks had them first.

I’m American and I’m a fan of Father Ted. I’m a Spaced fan, and won’t watch McSpaced. I’m also an IT Crowd fan, but if they ever get around to finishing the American version that was planned, I will watch it. Two reasons: Richard Ayoade reprised his role as Moss, and it co-starred Joel McHale from The Soup.

Again, American, and I love soccer. I will be watching the final on Wedsnesday. And, uh…ahem…GO BLUES!

  2. Aaron P. Says:

    OH!
I’m sure there will be bragging done on the next cast about the final.
No matter which way it goes 😉

  3. justhesh Says:

I saw it in a dream (seriously). I was a personal assistant for JT and the gang, and thus got to go to the final. All I’ll say is…Lamps for the win, then it was party time.

Regardless of the outcome, CFC vs Man U? Shit’s gonna hit the fan in Moscow.

This will be my first Champions League final, and I’ll be watching in HD. Ooh, I’m like a school girl!

  4. Brandon Says:

    HOLY SHIT BRIAN.

Flight of Dragons is fucking awesome. Seriously, one of my favourite movies when I was a child. And yes, it is the film you were thinking. From the wiki:
“But before the journey begins, a magical mishap leaves Peter in the body of the house-dragon Gorbash. Knowing nothing about being a dragon or about magic, Peter travels with two other companions, a knight and the dragon Smrgol. During the journey, it is Smrgol who teaches Peter the finer points of being a dragon.”

  5. Gill Says:

Yes, you do have Australian fans, you flippin’ racists!

(Poor Shona, stop being so mean to her!)

    More singing please

  6. justhesh Says:

Too bad Sir Alex can’t sign a 2-year trade deal for soggy Russian shit pitch.

  7. pHitzy Says:

    Brian here,

Thanks for the info Brandon. I’ve wanted confirmation about Flight Of Dragons for longer than I care to remember. I’m definitely going to track it down now.
