Oh no! Just when you thought it was safe to hang out at the Quick Stop…
Cabin Fever (hosted by the twisted souls Brian Fitzpatrick and Aaron Poole) is the result of having too much time on your hands and access to your local community radio station.
Over the course of an hour, they manage to trawl the depths of good taste, plus throw some music in. How much more could you want from a podcast?… Quality? Oh… we didn’t think of that.
Enjoy! And we hope our cross Atlantic friends can understand the Irish accent 😉
Hugs and Kisses,
Aaron P. + Rev. Fitzy
CABIN FEVER #10: From The Bowels – In the following hour of recording we manage to trawl the depths of good taste with conversation involving Brian’s bowel movements, our taxi-driver’s casual racism, and news of a woman found guilty of tearing a man’s scrotum from his body with her bare hands. To break up this high class entertainment, you’ll also find music from New Amusement, Joe Doyle, The Wynd, and The Tastydactyls.

“It was probably laced with maple syrup”
Wow, that was epic. Don’t worry, I’m Canadian, and found no offence in that comment. I laughed, hard… I’ve found a new podcast, thanks guys.

Thanks Brandon!
Glad you liked it.
I’ve actually been to Canada before (my ex was from Montreal). Nice place, although I did come across like an alcoholic, so it’s probably best I don’t return. 😉

I’m black and took stupid mad offense to it. I was only half way listening though.
I liked the show anyway. I too have found another podcast.

I think the best moments are when a joke makes you two lose yourself in a brief fit of giggles. Awesomesauce!

Aaron, don’t worry about coming across as an alcoholic. We’re all either drunk or stoned up here in the great white north; it’s the best way to deal with the cold, ya know?
I’m really looking forward to more episodes guys, and I’ve just started back tracking, listening to your old stuff. Also, please get an RSS feed up so I can subscribe (fuck iTunes!) 😛

We’ll look into it Brandon. Thanks for listening.

I too have found a new podcast.
I have to give props to the Bloodhoud Gang reference.
Comment by Rob — February 11, 2008 @ 8:28 am
This was fucking awesome.
Much as i love uncle smitty and the gang, it’s great to hear a decent podcast from our little clusterfuck of islands.
Great show!

I just left you guys a review on iTunes, and I think I’ll be the first when it goes up. Anyway. You guys have touched this girl in ways that SModcast never could. I have never laughed out loud at SModcast, but Cabin Fever? The impression of the queen had me in tears every time I heard it, and that is a rarity for me. Consider me a devoted fan. Please, baptize me in your Awesomesauce.

Thanks Aceles! That review hasn’t gone up yet but I’m looking forward to seeing it.
Be careful in future though, you left WAY too many double entendres there for me 😉
