I know Kevin is working on a Couple of Dicks with Bruce Willis. We’re all posting on Kevin’s Smodcast thread, on his website remember?

Kevin is a busy guy, anyone that listens to the Smods or who is familiar with the wide variety of projects (Films, Comics, Q & A Live Shows, SMods, merch, Comic-Cons ViewAskiew, Books, Twitter etc.) can see that, but I still expect a Smod every week or two….and I think it’s ok if I let Kevin and his friends know that as a fan, I’m bummed there’s no Smod again this week.

On a related note, anyone know what happened to Mewescast? Jay made three podcasts then bailedâ€¦.itâ€™s been months since his last podcast.

I have an idea! People are always asking which SModcast certain ideas or elements came from – why don’t we start a webpage or a wiki or something? It could be set up so the SMods are categorized, and maybe even transcribed by some brave individuals, so one can search and find which episode they’re looking for.

I’m thankful for the other podcast ideas. honestly, I didn’t listen to podcasts before SmodCast, but when I found Smod, I started enjoying the process. now I regularly listen to like 7 or 8 and it is a bigger part of my entertainment staple than TV or radio.

I’ve found a couple just by coming here on Sunday, seeing no Smod, but taking someone’s advice and trying a new one. Its cool to get here on a Sunday night and find SOMETHING I can listen to.

(And generally, people wait a while after a new Smod befor emeking suggesitons, which is polite, I think)

I am totally with most other people in that I love, and I mean fucking love SModcast, I’ve been a listener since day one, but its just a little bit annoying when theres this gap between the episodes without any explanation. I know the guys shooting a film and I hope it does phenomenally well but all someone’s got to do is just give a timeframe about how long its going to be until a new episode instead of what happened last year when there was a 3 month break and absolute silence (fair enough again they were shooting a movie, it obviously takes priority and all your time.)
No offence to any of the Mosier replacements but its worth the wait because the fact is they are the most engaging, funny individuals I’ve ever heard and the chemistry between Mosier and Kev is what makes the show so fingers crossed they’ll be back sooner rather than later!!!

It would be REALLY weird for him to do one with Willis and/or Morgan, but the odds of that happening are about the same as the odds of me taking a shot in the mouth.

Well, maybe not. That SMod would NEVER happen, whereas it’s at least possible that I would take one in the mouth in the right situation. You know, like if someone had a gun to my head, or if someone asked really really nicely.

Anyway, fear not my fellow SMinions. There will be new SMod eventually. Until then, as I stated before, just go listen to the Adam Carolla Podcast. It’s a pretty damn good substitute, with guests like David Cross, Francis Ford Coppola, Jeff Garlin, Seth McFarlane, Michael Ian Black, Jimmy Kimmel, Andy Dick, and Dr. Drew, just to name a few.

And if you’re one of the pricks that keeps on saying not to advertise for other podcasts, FUCK YOU! We live in an age where people need their podcasts. Besides, like I stated before, Kev doenst make money from this, so it’s not like I’m costing him anything. If anything, it helps by keeping a few people off his back. Adam doesnt get paid to do his either. In fact, the bandwidth costs him about 3grand a month. Fuck all you haters.

Seriously…some of us do amateur podcasts (and it sucks ass)…and some of us are working on indie movies (shitty horror flicks)…and some of us have an underground band that we have to rehearse with (trying not to suck donkey dick)…but we still find time to take our fucked up cheap Alesis iMultiMix8 ipod mixer to Hooters and record a quick, unfunny 75 minute podcast. If we can find the time…why can’t Kevin and Mos? They just bullshit for an hour like we all do anyway…granted they are alot funnier…just not waiting-over-a-month-or-so funny…

@Alex – I don’t think it’s the same. I don’t think ZAMMAP could have been called anything else. I think Kevin is right that people should know it’s a romantic comedy about making a porno. It sets expectations. I think ZAMMAP just wasn’t a good choice for a halloween weekend release. “A Couple of Dicks” is just mildly offensive, since “dicks” can be lots of things. So, it depends how you read it. If you think it’s dirty, maybe that’s because you have dirty thoughts… In any case, it’s a Bruce Willis flix, so it’s name is a moot point, could call it “Monkey Balls” and it’d make money…
