Noticed people talking about other podcasts, I would like to suggest “Stop podcasting yourself”. It is a weekly podcast, not as funny as smodcast but still really good. The Adam Carolla podcast is also really good, they have podcasts up every week day.

Does anyone remember the smodcast in which Kev and Moiser talk about a situation in which Kev offers a guy head during a bank robbery, to save hostages?

I didn’t want to be the one to say it, but this SModfast doesn’t really bother me. Since Kev rediscovered weed I find the shows to be less and less entertaining. Probably because I don’t smoke anymore. The hypothetical situations just don’t grab me like they use to. I’m sure they would be hilarious if I were stoned. I can’t knock it though. If it works for him and improves his quality of life, more power to him. I pretty much just listen now as a filler between his Q&A’s and “Evening With”‘s.

I’ll state it again.

I would also recomment theskepticsguide.org, for the more intellectual crowd.

SModcast will be back eventually, but stop loosing sleep over it. It’s not worth it. If you really want to suck Kev’s dick off that badly, just pop in one of the “Evening With” DVD’s. They are far more entertaining. And also, go to youtube and watch the kevin smith comi-con 2009 Q&A videos. I especially like the part where he talks about Twilight.
If you wanna complain about anything, complain about the lack of a Q&A DVD since “Sold Out”, the lack of the extended directors cut of Jersey girl that he promised on the commentary of that movie, and the complete lack of a commentary, even a downloadable commentary, for ZAMMAP. I know, I know, he doesnt want to trash the people he feels are responsible for the box office failure, but fuck that shit. Be a goddamn man and give the people what they want, whether it be an hour of you and Mosier waxing hypothetical in a haze of weed, or a simple commentary to what was in my own opinion one of the funniest films of 2008. I’m gonna stop this rant now before I get pissed. All you assholes need to stop whining about not getting your *FREE* podcast. It’s a big world out there. Take a walk and smell some new flowers. These are starting to turn.

Jon: A MMJ card might protect him at the State level, but I doubt it. There’s plenty of times where his use of MMJ would be clearly questionable. And a MMJ card means dick to the FEDs, so don’t kid yourself. If some self-rightous prosecutor maybe pissed off at Dogma, uses the MJ as a way to get at Kevin… could happen. But I’m high too, so maybe I’m paranoid… but why take chances? That’s all I’m saying…

I think it’s funny though that his best stoner movies were made when he wasn’t puffing. I saw Cheech talking about the Cheech and Chong movies and he said they weren’t high either. He said it was tons of work, long hours and no time for smoking… go figure…

Hate to say it, but the longer they go between Smodcasts, the less I care. You find other ways to feel the entertainment hours in your day and where you used to check back here daily for a new SMod you begin to check weekly then hardly ever at all.

Looking forward to A Couple of Dicks but loyalty fades so hey, might be a rental.
