Would of been a great video podcast. Describing fan art in an audio only format is not that riveting. I hate to complain considering Smodcast is free and it is one of the only three podcast I listen to regularly.
I would love for Kevin to go on Adam Carolla’s podcast because he was freakin’ awesome on Loveline.

Mr.Smith! first i’d like to say thnx for the podcast as well as the visit to Vancouver (again, as if i haven’t said thnx enough…i think now would be the end of that).

anyway to get to my topic and i hope you guys read this.

i just rented out the new Ghostbusters video game for my XBOX360…and the game REALLY captures the essence of the movie. i just love Ghostbusters and as old as the movie is, always gets a chuckle out of me.

in new related news, Harold Ramis aka Egon Spengler announced a Ghostbusters 3 in the works!

when i get into the fiction of a movie, i become this nerd just searching how factual can the fiction be (can someone invent a lightsaber, do proton packs exist, etc.) and if you remember that in Ghostbusters, they keep referring back to this text titled “Tobin’s Spirit Guide”. so i wondered, was there an author out there who was such a die hard fan who could’ve wrote a humor based book (aka the Zombie Survival Guide) or a collection of paranormal facts?

what i’ve found was a more interesting read than i thought. there’s a website with that title. suddenly i remembered the one smodcast involving strange animal experiments (Ruskies!) i thought maybe if you guys could do a smodcast about crazy demonology and other mythos and creating a silly “what if” about it like the new year’s episode with Mosier ol timey boxing with Jesus haha.

or get scared shitless, whatever. it talks a great deal on ghosts, newly discovered pyramids, mythical creatures, witchcraft, it just goes on and on.

The Adam Carolla Podcast definitely fills in the gaps. Intelligent folks may also want to try The Skeptics Guide to the Universe. Old Ricky Gervais Podcasts and Audiobooks are also always good for a laugh. That Karl Pilkington, with a head like a fucking orange!

I’m very skeptical about the idea of us getting a SModcast with Jason Lee talking about any supposed barfight. If he couldnt get Affleck to come on, what are the odds of him getting Lee? The fact is that most of these celebs he knows who are in the “public spotlight” won’t or aren’t allowed by their publicists to go sit in a room with a high director and talk about bullshit for an hour. No positive revenue stream from it, plus you don’t necessarily want to associate your client with “drugs”. Sucks for us dedicated consumers.

Luckily, the Podosphere isn’t exactly short of quality enjoyable and sometimes even informative podcasts.

I’m so bummed there’s no SMod again this week. Booo. I know it’s free, but if you call it a weekly cast it should be just that. One missed week here and there…no big deal, but more than that makes it feel undependable.

Maybe I should check out this Adam Carolla Podcast. He was pretty funny in The Hammer.

A SModfast is a perfect time to bust out some of those older and not so old SMods of weeks past… Is anyone over #74’s Glass Ass? Or remember Malcom promising to cut off a finger in #14… And was it #50 where Walt tells the story of a monkey catching a bird?

I don’t care if Lee does a SModcast. I think they should do either a 12 monkey’s SMod or another Harley SMod where they talk about elephants.
