What happens when two young men let their love of movies, comic books, and all things “geek” take over their lives? They run away from their families, bringing only the most essential DVDs and comics to their secret, highly fortified underground bunker in sunny Southern California, where they start recording podcasts that will change the world.
Are they heroes?
No.
Are they geniuses?
Far from it.
Are they the future of this planet?
I sure hope not.
Simply put… Matt Cohen and Jesse Rivers are “Bagged and Boarded”.

BAGGED & BOARDED #25: And Still Alive – In which Matt and Jesse celebrate their 25th episode with a little help from some BandB listeners. It’s Anniversary-tastic! Where’s our gifts?

Who do you guys think that the best and worst casting choices for Captain America and Thor would be?
Comment by FatherShark — May 12, 2009 @ 4:42 am
There better be some rapping genius at the beginning again… And there was. Rock on.

I am the man behind the curtains.
The voice in the bucket.
The ghost of podcast past.
Seriously, I need to pump up the volume on my microphone.

Bagged & Boarded should be required curriculum in high schools across the nation. Hellmutt 101 would be the first class in history to never be skipped! Keep up the good fight sirs!

Do you have to be on the board to call in?
Comment by Dylan — May 12, 2009 @ 9:50 pm
I love the pod, but the moment I realized that this one was a call in episode, I turned it off. I’m still haunted by the first Mewescast……

On twitter Harry Knowles said he was watching a My Bloody Valentine blu ray in 3D. So they do exist.
Comment by John — May 14, 2009 @ 8:48 pm
Jesse is a bitch. He can’t freestyle half as good as you. Motherfucker is mic-shy.
Comment by John — May 14, 2009 @ 9:45 pm
Umm… I don’t think I’ve freestyled on the show…
I have a deep love and respect for hip-hop. I’m not going to use it as a throw away tactic on the show.
Comment by JesseRivers — May 15, 2009 @ 3:10 am
what are you trying to say Jesse? 😉
Comment by mattcohen — May 15, 2009 @ 3:23 am
Ok please can you talk about Blade Runner.
Everyone hypes that film, it’s the most over-hyped piece of SHIT i have ever seen.
I mean visually, awsome, directing awesome, acting brilliant. BUT fuck all happens, half the film is harrison ford being the laziest detective ever, just walking around taking his time to get info, being SO slow.
finally he tracks them down one by one, in the end he fights the strong one, nearly dies and wins. YEA that fights exciting, but it’s the only good thing.
People talk about that bullshit of exploring humanity and what it means, because that element is unexplored, takes up 10 minutes of the whole film in total, and even the shit film A.I explores that better. This just hints at the idea. And that poetry shit, is a load of bollocks just like the guy in the white suit at the end of matrix 2.
It’s one of those films, where everyone says its good, so people all say its good, ive seen it 2 times now, fuck all happens, such a dry script, BULLSHIT FILM. Ridley scott, great director, harrison great actor, but that film? No.
PLEASE agree, this film has wasted my time 2 times, PLEASE tell me what i’m missing if you love this film.

First of all I wanna say grats on 25, keep up the podcast you guys. Secondly I wanna say that Blade Runner was a far better sci-fi for 1982 than a lot of films of that era. It’s true that film noir feeling might have been overkill, but to call it a shit film is just being ignorant. I know Jesse says he doesn’t like that detective genre, or movies from the 80’s so, I’m curious what you think too.
Comment by Nate — May 16, 2009 @ 2:34 am
Freestyle is straight off the top of the head just like Matt was doing and you mocked him. It wasn’t throw away in my opinion. I believe you’re just jealous because you lack the freestyling ability.
Another thing, if you had respect you wouldn’t have recorded that embarrassing intro Jesse. That will be on the internet FOREVER.
The Hip Hop Gods are angry.
Comment by John — May 16, 2009 @ 9:03 am
I thought the intro was fucking dope.
Comment by FatherShark — May 18, 2009 @ 4:57 am
I went to see my nephews and niece and they do actually have Journey to the Centre of the Earth in 3D on DVD.
And Nick Fury apparently lost his eye because he took shrapnel in the eye in the War and it slowly took his eyesight.
