True there is no Smod this week or the week before last or the one before that, No Smodcommentary for the Z&M, but I look at this a sort of breather for Scott and Kevin so they may unleash an AWESOME!!! Christmas Ep or Advent Eps?? Yes! 4 great christmas episodes before the new year!

Thank you guys!! I really enjoy the SMODCAST. I am the mother of an inquisitive and autistic 9 yr old boy and a sweet, sometimes impetuous 7 year old girl. I would rather explain that a “porno is not a movie for kids” to my two than field questions about “SAW” or any of the other gory movies that they don’t hesitate to promo on prime time. Sex is natural and how they came into the world. It is something that we have been gradually explaining all along. Unfortunately, we shouldn’t have to explain sickos and serial killers, but I think I’ve had “kid-friendly” discussions of the insanos of the world before I’ve had to field on-point questions about sex.

Keep up the great smodcasts. They give me a great laugh and I love listening to them on my ride home from a hard day at work. DOGMA was one of my favorite movies of all time. Fav quote: “Was Wisconsin really that bad?” (I wanted it tattooed to my chest upon moving away from a dreadful 2 years in Sparta, Wisconsin)

I hope once the movie makes it’s way out of the theaters we’ll get some new smod. I go to college 2 hours from home so I usually mix the new one and an old one to make the drive better but I’ve only had all old lately… Without a new one I’ll probably skid off the road and die in a fiery explosion of sadness. Can you guys live with that? I’d hope not. But you probably could.

I agree with Roberto. I think Smod has run its natural course. It is a terrific collection of podcasts, and well worth a re-listen – I think even better than the Ricky Gervais podcast which everyone seems to rave about – but new ones would spoil it.

I read in the view askew news a while ago that Kevin said the SMods would continue after things settled down from the movie. This was news from before the movie opened though, so hopefully things haven’t changed.

What’s wrong with having one of the minions let us know that SMod is on hiatus until further notice? It’s a crazy let down every Monday morning to hope it will be there and it’s not. I don’t feel entitled to SMod. The guys have let us know it’s just a hobby, but when you tell us there will be a commentary “next week” and that was a month ago, it sucks. I would have gone to see Z&M again with a commentary, but now it’s too late in my town. That train done left the building. Great way to build the back end fellas.
