    I don’t think the delayed release of SModcast on itunes is helping the website issues…. did it really make a difference with the fans waiting?? nope, I think it made it worse by making everyone come here at one time.

    anyways.. how could Scott even conceive of eating pork for life. Thats just a filthy beast to be eating forever.. I lve bacon, but … come on… it somes from an animal that rolls around in SHIT for fun… I’m more into the animal that just stands there and farts and chewing..

    See King Corn. It’s all about corn, grain and cows. It’s not that interesting, but it answers all the questions you bring up in this podcast.

    Corn fed beef tastes way better, in addition to cost savings. I’ve been to Europe beef is dry, tough & tasteless.

    In cows there is both fat around the meat, which is trimmed away in most cases & fat in the meat called marbling. The more marbling the better the cut & the grade (USDA prime is given to top 4% of beef or most marbled)

    In Kobe beef the marbling is so thick it looks like wide
    stripes. Kobe beef does not need to be chewed it melts in your mouth like a handful of snow.

    In most cases pork has less than beef. Bacon & pork ribs are pretty high in fat.

    Actually, Kevin’s body would produce some good steaks. If you don’t do a lot of exercising (and I think he said he doesn’t) the meat doesn’t become as tough because it doesn’t produce a lot of connective tissues.

    Dave G your a LYING PUSSY!! Chimps eat meat. Human have ALWAYS eaten meat. Every culture in which Archaeologists have found remnants of human civilization has included animal bones. Yes people used to eat less meat but humans have always eaten as much meat as they could get their mits on. Even to this day you can tell how most economies are doing by just looking at whether meat consumption is up or down. The only bit of Peta Pagan Propaganda that has any validity is that beef & ONLY beef is partially digested in the large intestine. But the salient point is that it can be digested. If we were meant not to eat something our bodies would not be able adjust & take nutrients from it.

    Even if this bullshit was correct the conclusion is sub-retarded. All real medicine is not natural. Living in houses & sleeping in beds is not natural. Any mode of transportation other than barefoot walking is not natural. Electricity is not natural either. Farming vegetables is not natural either. All fruits & vegetables have been changed by man a lot over time making them even further unnatural.

    When any living creature can do something that it previously couldn’t do there’s a scientific word for it dipshit —
    EVOLUTION!!

    Vegans are sub-human. Carnivores & omnivores are at the top of the food chain in every ecosystem. Vegans are by definition lower on the food chain and less evolved so its ok to eat vegans. Vegans, its what for dinner bitches!!!

    Violence, slavery and the domination of women came pretty natural to man too. I guess that means Dave G. is pro slavery, violence & dominating women.

    heifer=unbred female
    veal= calf never fed grains or hay(grass) milk fed only

    grain is a cows candy they love it put hay and grain in front of them they’ll always eat the grain first

    I sometimes think that the Smodcasts cover too many subjects, but this is really one of the worst Smodcasts to me. Actually I would say this is the only one I don’t like. I wish they’d have gotten off the meat topic after like 5 mins. Anyways can’t wait for the next one.

    If you’re connected to a router (a box that usually has an antenna on it for wireless connections), it may need to be reset. You can accomplish this by pushing the tiny reset button on the back with a ball point pen, or by unplugging, counting slowly to 20 and plugging it back in.

    Not that I mind the tech question or anything, but you probably don’t wanna ask for help like that here, since the chance of an answer is kind of a crap shoot.

    I’d recommend calling your local computer tech. If they won’t tell you what I told you for free, they’re likely not worth whatever their price tag says.

    … aaaand in the interest of getting back on topic …

    Scott, Smitty, you guys are the best. Of course I love the View Askew flicks, and even the worst Smodcast gets repeated on my iTunes list. Thanks for the year+ of Smods.

    However, did I hear Kevin correctly? Is Steak Tartare really raw meat and egg? I like steak and eggs as much as the next omnivore, but I can’t see how that combination can be tasty in goo form …
