First time writer,,long time smodcast listener.Have loved everything you have done until this one.Gotta say,,pretty boring ass smodcast this week. Most people don’t really care that much about hearing about dental work.Mewes brings down the show every time he is on (just being honest)Otherwise,,,ya guys keep me laughing weekly (when ya actually post the smodcast weekly that is)

For you guys that found this smodcast difficult to listen to,
keep in mind Kevin is under the weather and is doing more in a
day than you likely do in a week.
Besides nobody had a gun to your head and it was free so chill hater.

fist off, everyone who said Mewes is boring, are wrong. i think what happend is the whole quizzy thing. i thought it was interesting (but i am a film student) BUT it was a bit much. i think Kevin and Jay schould just shoot the shit like he does with everyone else.

secondly, i’m super bummed that it’s now been two weeks with out a new SMod. but, i know kev and everyone are working on the film so i cant blame them for neglecting us. haha. keep ’em comming Kev! (but only if you have the time!)

Mewes isn’t boring but half the show asking him if he remembered so and so was a little much… I usually listen to each smodcast a couple times during the week when they come out but I haven’t listened to that once since then.. I indeed can remember everyone mewes did or didnt remember no need for another listen haha…
You know what would be a hilarious smodcast or maybe just funny in an awkward kind of way… Kevin and his mom lol

you guys are cruel when it comes to mewes. Dude does pretty good and I think he is funny. I didn’t mind the quiz either I thought it was interesting. Mabe not the best smodcast but it had its moments. Mewes has his own brand of comedy of which he is master. He volunteers to do smodcast out of the kindness of his heart and shouldn’t be berated about it. That’s my opinion anyway.

Wow, I also thought that Smodcast 44 was not among the funniest of the funniest, but I would be real disappointed if Kevin was discouraged from having Mewes on or if Mewes was discouraged from being on Smodcast. He seems like a central guy to so many things, has such charm and sweetness, and I want to hear from time to time what is up with him.

I too, am jonesing for a SModfix, but I wish some of the above posters would quit bitching so much. Was #44 one of the funniest? No, but at least he did it. I’m sure most of you aren’t aware the hours involved in shooting any film, let alone a feature, but it’s time consuming. Also, I’d like to point out that Kevin does this for free, for the fans. He doesn’t have to, and if you keep complaining, he might stop.

On another note, I heard that in the new comic, they gave Captain America a gun. What the hell? Love to here Kev talk about that. Cheers!

in one of the smodcast you mention jellyfish. jellyfish are of the Cnidaria. some classes do eat small plankton but most do eat bigger animals such as fish and other aquatic animals.

Kevin love the SModcast, just started listening to it at work a couple of days ago, but 12 hours a day standing watching a machine cut parts doesn’t seem so long when I get to laugh at the different stories you and the View Askew gang share and the subjects ya’ll bring up. Keep up the Fuckin great work you bring to the screen, ect. and don’t let the fuck-tards get you down. Oh and it was Metallica’s ‘One’ that had the WW2 footage in it.

Hey Smodcastians

I was just wondering, and shit I don’t know if anyone has posted this before, but I was wondering if Kev or Scott, and how many of the listeners have seen the SModcast flash video “SModpast”. It’s kind of short, but it’s kind of funny to see little snippets of SModcast put to cartoon versions of Kev and Scott. And even Brian.

Anyway, I enjoy revisiting old SMods, but can’t wait for the new one. I say they do a fucking 3 hour SMod to make up for the past 2 weeks. Wait… no, maybe not. That is potentially dangerous…

Seriously, Silent Bob hasn’t spoken since Jan. 10, no new SMod in weeks…it just sucks that we haven’t been able to hear how things are going while you are in the moment. I know things will get back to normal once filming stops, but so may the funny stories from on set.
