I thought this was interesting seeing as how Kev was talking about Mel Gibson playing practical jokes on Jodie Foster.

Re: the Longevity of Playboy Magazine
I don’t believe it’s in any danger. Those looking for a quick thrill haven’t turned to Playboy in decades. I agree with you on that. It’s just my theory, but even before the internet horny guys (and maybe gals) had other stroke mag choices if that’s what they had in mind. Mags with much racier pics than what Playboy offers. Playboy has continued to thrive because they’re the best damn magazine out there. Their interviews are better than any other periodical. Over the years, Mr. Hefner has been a pioneer on several fronts when it comes to civil rights. The magazine is pro-woman, pro-choice, pro-sex, pro-SAFE-sex, post-racial and just progressive in general. If all you wanna do is jerk off (and hey, that’s a good thing and totally valid,) Playboy may not be your first choice. But it’s surely a good, solid magazine. If it needs saving (and I’m not convinced it does,) we women subscribers will likely be the ones to save it. If a man tells you he reads Playboy for the articles, he’s probably telling the truth. If he says the same about Hustler, well, I’m not buying it. The explanation, anyway. I may still buy the Hustler.

growing up in Kansas where fred phelps would protest (if he ran out of carnival tokens) from time to time just in case there was someone who was homersexual. The local protestant churches were against Playboy and in 1995 the convenience store started selling Playboy. One of the local churches started to boycot the store, going to the Coop for gas and would drive 15 miles to go to a store that did not sell Playboy.(it was not until 2003 the town got a liquor store) I was a friend of the clerk that was there (he was everyones friend) told me that a local Preacher would come in and buy one every month. People found out and the church got rid of him really quickly. the woman who brought the objection to the church council found that her husband had had a subscription for at least 5 years.
I totally agree that Playboy is in big trouble because online hit the little town and overnight i swear everyone got buff forearms. i love pod casts, Malcolm is complex like a 5×5 rubix cube, keep up the great fun.

Love the ‘casts, but is there any way you guys can normalize the volume levels. I’m fiddling with the volume control like a 12 year old boy’s first time in a girl’s panties. It seems to be a common complaint I have of podcasts, but I tend to expect a little more from someone ‘in da industry’.
And get your ass out to Albuquerque for a Q&A.

Bang Bus is staged. All the girls are “established” porn “stars.” Don’t be so gullible, Silent Bob.

How the hell does Kevin not know that Bangbus is totally staged and 100% all the time performed by professional porn actors? I mean, how is old he is now? I mean, I can give horny teenagers a pass on naivete of that magnitude, but a grown adult who doesn’t know that would be totally illegal if what they did wasn’t staged and agreed to in expressed written consent by the performers. I don’t understand.
