What happens when two young men let their love of movies, comic books, and all things “geek” take over their lives? They run away from their families, bringing only the most essential DVDs and comics to their secret, highly fortified underground bunker in sunny Southern California, where they start recording podcasts that will change the world.
Are they heroes?
No.
Are they geniuses?
Far from it.
Are they the future of this planet?
I sure hope not.
Simply put… Matt Cohen and Jesse Rivers are “Bagged and Boarded”.
BAGGED & BOARDED #13: Beyond the Matt – In which Matt and Jesse discuss the new film THE WRESTLER, bicker about the definition of “Art”, and reminisce on New Year’s long ago. Countdown to this, sucka!

“You can’t just light something and call it art”
I love that line.

I reckon that Matt’s right, Warren would sound like Johnny Storm.
And do the commentary on Incredible Hulk. That would be awesome.

Hey guys, good podcast. I’m also one of your regular listeners, just don’t post on all the pods. I like this podcast because I love discussing movies with people but don’t get to do it often enough, so at least listening to two guys discuss movie/geek stuff is really kinda therapeutic. Its nice to put a Quickstop podcast on in the car when I’m drivin’ around L.A., and usually its you guys or Kev and Scott that I listen to. Keep it up, I’ll keep listening.
P.S. Try and think of the first movie that you both disagreed on for your movie commentary, or at least the first that is a somewhat widely known movie. Might make for some good entertainment.

I love the show. I just wanted to let you guys know that Lex Luger is not in jail. Although he was living with Ms. Elizabeth at the time of her death he is not directly responsible. Both were heavily abusing drugs at the time and that’s what caused her to die. Lex Luger is however currently paralyzed from the waist down.

There’s young Warren from the 60’s X-Men and then theres older Warren from the 90’s 00’s. I think young Warren sounds like a privleged cock, while older Warren (who lost his fortune, was left for dead, was corrupted by apocolypse, and then had most of that reversed) has a more refined and humble voice yet confident.
So run that through your wave form analyzer and come up with a voice!

The podcast keeps getting better, guys. I’ll tell you this, though: I would’ve been a great guest to have on for the Beyond the Matt episode. Don’t forget that I have an extensive background in professional wrestling “journalism.”
As for my commentary pick, something cheesy but fun: Evolution.

Love the podcast!! Didn’t start listening until this episode but I have been hitting up the archives
Nice to know that I am not the only geek out there. I still have people staring at me in college when I go into “full out geek mode” about a movie or comics!!
Keep up the awesome work can’t wait for the next one!!
