Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.
Actor/comedian/raconteur Dana Snyder, you’re certainly aware, is Aqua Teen Hunger Force’s Master Shake, Squidbillies‘ Granny, Minoriteam’s Dr. Wang, and The Venture Bros.‘ Alchemist. Available for weddings and bar mitzvahs (bat availability pending), you can keep tabs on him via his website, www.eyeofthesnyder.com.
Ken Plume is the editor-in-chief here at FRED. He is a friend of Dana’s, as well as his arch-nemesis.

Middle finger? Plumey, you’re whacko. The pinky is the weakest finger on the hand. The middle actually brings strength to the package. The pinky just means your index and ring have to pick up the slack. You think no pinky looks freaky? No middle finger makes someone look like a lizard. If the middle is off at the second knuckle, it looks like there are TOO many fingers. It’s much more obvious that THE BIGGEST FINGER ON THE HAND is missing, as opposed to the SMALLEST. That’s like saying removing the torso would be less obvious than removing an arm. Besides, Ken, you’ve already lost ONE finger from last time. Now you’ve got TWO missing fingers. Do you really want to go through life looking like you’re trying to shoot web?

Wow, when Dana’s not there Ken is a lot funnier. If he was like that all the time the gap in talent between Ken and Dana wouldn’t be so obvious.

Once again, you’ve shown yourself to be quite the entertaining showman, Ken. Well done this week.
Thanks for keeping it weekly.

Actually it’s really a callback to another podcast that has had George Lowe open it since February of this year. 😀

Dick Smith lost his pinky finger and the doctor removed the entire bone in the hand, eliminating the whole ‘ledge’ arguement. This was done decades ago so with the current state of plastic surgery they could probably make it look even better. Smith called it his Mickey Mouse hand. Great Snydecast! Keep it going fellas. Of course, now that I have caught up only getting Snydecast once a week is painful.
