Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.
Actor/comedian/raconteur Dana Snyder, you’re certainly aware, is Aqua Teen Hunger Force’s Master Shake, Squidbillies‘ Granny, Minoriteam’s Dr. Wang, and The Venture Bros.‘ Alchemist. Available for weddings and bar mitzvahs (bat availability pending), you can keep tabs on him via his website, www.eyeofthesnyder.com.
Ken Plume is the editor-in-chief here at FRED. He is a friend of Dana’s, as well as his arch-nemesis.

Good episode. Not a fan of the songs being inserted into the podcast, though. It kind of breaks up the rhythm of the conversation. Otherwise, great episode and thanks for mentioning my email on the podcast.

Ken — I hope you pardon my hypocrisy in saying so, since I am heavy myself and hate when other heavy people assume it’s okay to chum up to me and declare us part of some heavy brotherhood (I say heavy because were I to say fat I would be calling you fat by extension, and that would be rude) — you have every right to own your heaviness.
If I were asked what dish I would serve if forced to cook for company, it would be bologna sandwiches. I’m heavy ’cause I’m lazy. You, sir, are a gastronome in my book and deserve high praise among the heavy brotherhood.
If we were characters in Ratatouille, you would be Remy and I would be his dim brother Emile.

Way to keep Dana off-balance Plumey! He was either half in the bag already or that “Ploomwinkle” voice in the opening totally knocked the legs out from under him. Throwing in the Bugsy Malone clips was the finisher. In this bout of verbal fisticuffs, its game, set and match: PLUME. ~gerry

I really love the Ken P.D. Snyde-Cast! The only issue I had with this episode is all of the extra songs played through the middle. I listen to this podcast to hear the back-and-forth banter; unfortunately, the music prevented me from doing so! Not a big deal though, you guys are fantastic.
Keep up the great shows!….Please 🙂

I love you guys in a totally heterosexual way. I just recently got into Snydecast and I’ve enjoyed every single one I’ve listened to.
Snydecast and Smodcast go hand in hand on my iPod. Who needs a themed podcast when you have back and forth witty banter?

Ken’s from Alameda? Sweet, me too!
Can the snydewich recipes be submitted to http://www.foodaskew.net? That’d be sweet…
