Here are today’s top entertainment headlines:

• Writer/Director Wes Craven is suing his neighbor, comedian Pauly Shore, for damages to Craven’s house and property.  In the lawsuit, Craven claims that Shore’s remodel of his home weakened the ground causing a landslide that damaged Craven’s property.  Craven is demanding that Shore pay for all repairs to his home and land, as well as money for “mental anguish,” which Craven claims he suffered after accidentally watching part of Jury Duty.

• Comedian Jimmy Kimmel was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday night to have an emergency appendectomy.  The host of Jimmy Kimmel Live is said to be doing well after the surgery and he hopes to return to his show next week.  Representatives for Kimmel are stressing that the injury was in fact an appendectomy and was not the result Kimmel’s girlfriend, Sarah Silverman, “accidentally” stabbing the host with her belted-on wiener.
