    Great episode!
    I’ve been trying to find this one episode I heard a while ago, can someone help me? Kev was pretending to be high and acting out a scenario with mosier where they were at Elizabeth Banks’ BBQ? Anyone have any idea what I’m talking about? I’ve love to hear it again, I just can’t figure out which episode it is!

    In the last month I learned about the existance of SModcast. I have just now caught up by listening to every one of them on my iPhone whenever I have down time. So, thank you Kevin and than you Scott for the nonstop entertainment that has been this last month. I have enjoyed every single SModcast and talk about it all the time. I’m like a new Christian annoying the shit out of all my friends.

    My whole family and boyfriend smoke but i chose not. I know smoking is bad for me and i know that second hand smoke is bad for me and i don’t care. I love to know how every one at smodcast feels about those stupid truth commercials on TV.

    SMingles Night! I’d attend! I never have anyone to talk to about SModcast… it sucks. For example: every time I got to my drawing class I’m tempted to yell “you can see his penis!” or going down the cereal isle and humming to myself “feels like the first time, feels like the very first time”…or catching a glimpse of Tom Cruise in a magazine and thinking of the SModcast ending to “Minority Report” in which “Let’s get hiiiiigh. Oh Shit! T.C. shut you down bitches, time to get high!” Needless to say there’s a lot of awkward laughter breaking the silence that surrounds me. Ha ha.

    Regarding an older smodcast, “Massholes” from the 05/09/2008, you and Scott made a comment basically expressing confidence that now-days abuses within the Catholic Church don’t go unreported. I’m saddened to tell you this simply isn’t the case. In fact Ireland’s legal body has basically ensured that no one can press charges against perpetrators.

    In 1999 a government-appointed panel (Fienna Fail) paid 12,000 survivors of church-run organisations approximately $90,000 each on the condition that they surrender their right to sue either the church, or state.

    In 2001 a controversial deal was struck between the religious order and the government whereby the government capped the churches contribution of “$175 million” that contributed to a rehabilitation trust funding physical and psychiatric care for victims of abuse, in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

    The real figure however, wasn’t anywhere close to that number.

    It was revealed that the church only parted with $40 million – not that it should matter, it is utterly disgraceful that the government let the Church buy their way out of prosecution.

    I urge you to please watch the Irish television program Questions and Answers as they address responses to the Ryan Commission Report which detailed decades of known incidences of sexual abuse covered up by the Catholic Church.

    Though serious, it may be worth Smodding about in the future.

    SModcast should just become a once monthly, 3 hour podcast similar to The Lazlow Show. I think that listeners wouldn’t get so bent out of shape if the expectation was one SModcast a month. Besides, Kevin and Scott seem too busy and lacking in conversation to force one a week.

    Just check out the Choice by Ahmad Dedat, its a book about all the funny mistakes in the bible and asks you to try to point at one thing that’s messed up in the Quran.
