more interested in the exalted astrobase releasing tracks from the show

It’s actually pretty damn good, but I think they should’ve called themselves “The Lip Glossary”. It’s a way better name.
-
WEEP, you rawk!!!
-
It’s not shit!!!
Good goin’ Doc!

Very cool. The cover art reminds me of “Future Days” by Can.

about time. your guys’ myspace page was pretty much the only reason I’d even log on myspace anymore, the music is great, and now I can take it with me, JOYGASM!

WoW thats awesome ! ……but ja “Lip Glossary” would have been the way to go with the band name.

[…] Friend of Needcoffee and one of the Lords of Venture, Doc Hammer, has a new album out: it’s Never Ever by Weep. You can see the info over at Astrobase Go (full disclosure: and IIIII helped) and hear a sample bit at Quick Stop. […]

Bowie would be proud!

I’m sorry Doc.. You’re cool. Your art is fantastic.. But I cant get past you sounding like Corey Feldman. 😀

It has a flavor like The Jesus and Mary Chain, but sounds more “full” in general with subtle melodies. Sweet music.

Sounds like something off a college radio station, slightly better production value. Wholly regurgitated musical themes from the eighties comeback, without any vengeance whatsoever. Singing was a lot monotone, and Stephen Hawking wants his style back assholes. Just can’t get over the fact that someone was happy to release this ‘music’, when they shoul have posted it as general remixes of song ideas in some dark hole of the interweb. Packaging is super cool. Music, not much to be said. Move along, people, nothing to see here.

Jesus and Mary Chain is right- sounds like the forgotten 80s underground-Lonely is an eyesore
-

With all the shitty bands and artists surfacing this is a legitimately talented group of musicians, and if your sitting there thinking “what the fuck is a musician?” sit down, have a listen, and learn something. Its not a genre I’m used to, but by listening to these guys I’ve come to see its not all bad and can actually be quite good. Keep on keeping on guys.
