I picked up FTL for the iPad, so now I can live out my fantasies of running my own starship. Engage!

My Copy of Final Fantasy: Theatrythem - Curtain call arrived today. Boasting 260 songs from the final fantasy games.... this won't get played for months probably...

It's been a slow year for me I've bought no brand new games on PS3 since GTAV last year except for FFX-HD which isn't new because it's a rehash of a ps2 title and MGS: ground zeroes which is more of a extended demo than a game... that said some games seem like extended demos when they charge you for the ending and call it DLC (think Asura's wrath.. or just capcom in general. Or Dead Space 3)

Actually the only other game I bought new this year was Senran Kagura: full burst for the 3ds, it features side scrolling combo beating up bad and selectable anime ninjas with jiggly bits. I've probably coined about 8 hours total playtime into that and still completed less than 1%. I could play it more but my console games are just a bit more rewarding. Plus the same enemies appear in each mission so it gets a bit samey, and the fact you have so many different missions per chapter, you can pick anyone but certain missions require you play as a certain character first time so I end up just working trhough the same missions over and over as the different girls... add to that you get mission rankings so if I get a low score, theres the probability I'll want to go back and string some better combo's together.

I bought Destiny opening day- played for all of thirty minutes and realized I should have researched the game more. I don't play well others.
I've been sitting on a copy of Battlefield 4 for months- I played about an hour and a half of it and got frustrated and bored with it.
So yesterday, I took both of them in and traded for the remastered version of The Last of Us. And I still had a little leftover to put towards Batman: Arkham Knight, whenever they get around to releasing that one...

I played almost four hours of The Last of Us. Love it. But then again, I've enjoyed the hell out of every Naughty Dog title I've ever played.

I love (a) Naughty Dog. And The Last of Us really is something. I've dropped off of playing the last couple of weeks, but I intend to finish that gem - where abouts are you in the game?

Tess and Ellie.

I love that game, but I've only played through it twice.

And I'm quickly making my way through Uncharted 3 for the second time before my psplus membership runs out in November.

It's got a half-life of about a year. Old school greatness.
