My 7-year-old (now eight) and I caught it four times in theaters — double our previous record for return viewings — and it just got better each time (though our lone 3D experience didn’t add anything because of THAT particular bell & whistle). Easily the best animated movie I’ve seen in 25 years (sorry, IRON GIANT) and the very best movie about fathers and sons I think I’ve ever seen. So glad I got to share that with my boy.
