Wow man you really out-did yourself on this.This is not only one of the best Adams tributes I’ve read, it’s also one of the best articles you have ever done. Great job organizing this and managing to execute it so touchingly. I never had the chance to meet the man, but these very human stories, makes me feel like I know him a little better now. Thanks for taking the time to get this out there.

And always know where your towel is.

R.I.P. Douglas Adams you will always be missed…….now you’re hitchhiking the galaxy forever.

Wow, whaddya know? Plume DOES read these! LOL. Thanks for correcting the spelling of my name. It actually makes it more difficult for the bill collectors to find me by using the correct spelling.
And a belated Happy Towel Day to everyone. I’m sure that the jackals at Hallmark here in KC are developing a line of greeting cards & assorted novelties as you read these words. Easy enough to make a holiday when you print 90% of the world’s calendars.

Ten years we’ve known each other, Plume and you still can’t spell my name right. In honor of Douglas Adams, the Backlash column for June, 2007 is now ready. And, believe it or not, a worse picture of me has been posted to Facebook but you’ll have to look for it.
Seriously, though, that’s a great tribute piece that’s well worth re-running. I see with the extra 5 years that the slacker Chapman still couldn’t make deadline. Typical.
