I actually just finished listening to the entire podcast, that X-Men reading was pretty damn good. Love the sound effects. I’m missing ampersand for the intro but I guess it just isnt appropriate sans Jesse. As far as Saturday morning cartoons, do you guys remember that show with Michael Jordan, Bo Jackson and Wayne Gretzky? I forget the name, but it pretty much ruled my face.

Childeren of Men – is a TERRIBLE film. Poorly written . . . AND mind-bendingly boring. Michael Cane: “Don’t worry . . . I’ve talked myself out of tighter spots than this one.” Then his character confronts the baddies – “Pull my finger.”

Pathetically enough, that was the film’s best moment.

Kick-Ass is a so-so book. Thus far, it’s only shining moment has been the point where Kick-Ass goes to confront the Ex-boyfriend. Other than that, I can’t even remember why the Mob wants him dead. It’s all a little too contrived for a story which is based on and set IN “reality”.
