Green Day has 8 albums with a b-sides collection. Pearl Jam never stopped; they have 8 albums out and a b-sides collection with the 9th album on its way this year. They would be my pick for band of the allotted generation and I would easily put Radiohead and The White Stripes ahead of Green Day in the category, but that’s my personal preference.

Thank goodness you cleared up your mistakes during the podcast. I still think you are crazy regarding Valentine de Landro, the penciller for X-Factor, and X-Factor in general.
While de Landro’s work might be looser of late, he started off really well and still pulls it off well for the most part right now. He’s certainly better than some of the artists that were on the book before.
Ever since the Secret Invasion tie-in issues, Peter David has been able to get this title to do everything he wants to do with it, unhindered by the contraints of a tie-in plot. He’s been able to use story elements from earlier in the series and stuff from the 90s that went unresolved.
It’s sad that you don’t like the book anymore, but it’s consistent quality is undeniable, especially for the fans who continue to purchase it.

On a better note, Secret Six is freaking great. 13 issues of win and counting.
