The stories do not directly connect, but for the astute viewer, there are overlapping characters and settings. Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance is the most subtle, art-house feel, and is brutally bleak. Lady Vengeance, IMO, is the most superior film of the series; I’d call it the modern day M. Oldboy is by far the weakest film of the trilogy and only caught on here because it was the most traditionally packaged violent thriller to the Western market.

that shit shouldn’t impress anyone over the age of eight.

and fuck final destination. how many times are they gonna make that movie? its unoriginal, horribly acted gore-porn.

saw old boy for the first time tonight though. honestly, that movie messed me up a little bit. i felt horrible after. i suppose the real question is — would it have been better with an added dimension?

Good reviews are coming in on the new Final Destination in 3-D. Alice in Wonderland is also coming out in 3-D.

Your eyes and brain just can’t handle the 3-D for that long of a time, mine can and comfortably.

i mean, if you like 3d more power to ya. but it’s just a fad. or at least i hope so. its makes as much sense as fandango — of course i wanna pay an extra two dollars to print the tickets myself…uh, what?

UP was amazing as was Monsters Vs Aliens. If you got the chance to see My Bloody Valentine you’d realize how perfect it is to bring 3-D back to horror. Jesses, it does add depth, check pixar’s up.
