I have long enjoyed the Smodcast, and I appreciate the fact that it is free. But this shouldn’t mean that suggestions can’t be made from time to time.

Here is one from me: Please, for the love of god, will you stop yelling so much, Mr. Smith. It is so annoying and so pointless. Do you not realize how close you are to the mic? I don’t think the mic is incapable of picking up your voice if you just keep it at a reasonable level.

I don’t know what volume to keep my speakers on, because not long after turning it up, there goes our esteemed host blasting out my eardrums again. Isn’t it a bit hypocritical, yelling at Shecky and then turning around and yelling into the mic?

Maybe Shecky is barking because she’s mad at you for yelling so much.

speaking of those who care, Malcom Ingram showed up to the bloor’s first “live on 35” film tonight, and he is awesome.

Hey Juice, It strikes me that you’ve read this entire thread all the while telling yourself that you’re better than the rest of the folks who post here. Why did you read the thread at all? After all you could have taken your own advise and just checked to see if a new smodcast had been posted. You’ll likely reply by saying that you read it all to make fun of the people who’ve already posted. Oh and since Kev and I are such bosom buddies I think I can safely say that he probably likes the fact that his fans feel a personal connection to him since it leads them to buy way more of his merchandise. I doubt that any of the people who posted here are delusional or stalkers; they’re just devoted fans excited about a new piece of content from our good, true, and close friend Kevin. Oh, and in your attempt to seem more formal, you left out ole Smitty’s middle name. If you really wanted to seem different from the others who post here,you should have referred to K-Dog as Kevin Patrick Smith. You pathetic lurking weirdo.

Could it be that just saying ‘Kevin gets busy doing other things’ is easier than writing out, ‘The writer, director, sometimes editor of some movies that I like, whome I have sadly never met, but goes by the name of Kevin Smith, is reported to have said through a third party whose sources of information are usually trustworty, that he is sometimes busy doing other things.’

Just seems easier to assume that when I, or anyone else, call him Kevin or even Kev, the rest of the peole on this thread will know who we are talking about.

I love when people refer to Kevin Smith as “Kev” or “Kevin”, as if you all know him personally. He doesn’t care about you, hell he doesn’t even know who you are. Stop posting information about what he does like @theotherbilly…”Sometimes Kevin gets busy doing other things”…”Do you think Kevin would miss that?” (reference to Gretzy being in L.A.) Please stop talking like you are his representative and just check back every once in a while to see if there is a new Smodcast. You are not his agent, shutup and stop pretending to be his E-Friend.

MewesCast!!! It's not bad...a little crude (audio quality wise), but it's the first one. The intro is great. I can see potential. They just need to work out the kinks.

@Jason SMod (in theory) is suppose to be a weekly affair, but sometimes there are long breaks in between postings. While this may be frustrating to people it does make things all the more sweet when a new installment finally gets posted. Sometimes Kevin gets busy doing other things. As Peter J. stated above, Wayne Gretzky was in L.A. on Sunday. Do you think Kevin would miss that? Not a chance. Then today it was his wife's birthday. As you can image he was probably busy celebrating that with her. SMod will come eventually. Then we'll forget all about this short wait. For those that don't know. You can visit the Viewaskew Forum every Sunday and read for yourself whether or not there will be a new Smod. Kevin is pretty good about keeping us apprised of the situation.
