Art is subjective no? So it’s not about “Understanding” cause thats the most cliched bullshit line in the books.

It’s about what it does to you, on a personal level. Just becasue I PERSONALLY dont like a certain type of film (if you can really even call it a type) doesnt mean I dont understand them. I can obviously see these are well made films, and that others love them, but I PERSONALLY dont.

All that aside, Dark Knight is still not an awards movie. I like the movie alot, bordering on love, so its not me trying to “diss” the film. Does it really matter to you if it wins an oscar? Should it?

For Jason: Been listening since episode six. I’ve listened to them all, but that where I started.

Why? Because I like to scream at myself while walking around about the factual faults of some certain people. These dudes just happen to be those guys for me.

Dear lord in heaven Matt, don’t even get me strated about your Dark Knight ravings at the end of the episode. Guess you just did. Whether or not it’s your favorite movie or no, you should be able to see the award worthiness of it. That’s why you don’t like it! It’s of a very high caliber of filmmaking you don’t understand. You have no intention of seeing Revolutionary Road, Milk, Doubt or many others of the same ilk.

Commented a few times. Jesse even did the impression of Edward G. Robinson. Great Show and Jesse’s right, Dark Knight should at least be nominated. 3 of the nominated movies aren’t even out.
