But regarding Ep: 31 (which I just listened to), regarding Fitzy’s theory of why Australians apparently talk ‘up’… Utter horse shit!

We’ve become used to lame, baseless ‘Home and Away’ and Fosters beer jokes. There is not a single thing about our culture that pertains, in any way, to our alleged convict past. Unless you count the idiocy of the British government of the time sending its undesirables to an island paradise in the South Pacific. Where, instead of perishing, they created the wonderful nation I live and love today.

So how’s the weather over there, right now?

If only all ‘convicts’ could be so lucky…

As far as the fine goes, it’s pretty funny. 25,000 is about what we pay Ronaldo per day. The 7 yellow cards were ridiculous though. Did you see the game? We only deserved about half of them. No biggie though.
