Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium.

Actor/comedian/raconteur Dana Snyder, you’re certainly aware, is Aqua Teen Hunger Force’s Master Shake, Squidbillies‘ Granny, Minoriteam’s Dr. Wang, and The Venture Bros.‘ Alchemist. Available for weddings and bar mitzvahs (bat availability pending), you can keep tabs on him via his website, www.eyeofthesnyder.com.

Ken Plume is the editor-in-chief here at FRED. He is a friend of Dana’s, as well as his arch-nemesis.

If you liked ‘Yan Can Cook’, for a different take look up the old Canadian cooking show ‘Wok With Yan’. Thanks again guys for the continued frequency. Keep up the great work!

  2. Sausage Says:

    hi fellas

  3. Russ Says:

Ok, count me in. I have now listened to the last 6 KenPDSnyde-casts. I submit to being called a listener.

Keep up the whatever the hell you two do – it’s entertaining?

  4. Gerry Says:

OK, so first off, I was hung over and still a little drunk from the night before, where I’d been the victim of harsh ribbing for not being a stereotypical macho monkey man. That’s what prompted that email (along with the ERIN GO BRAGH contest). I’ve just always been more comfortable hanging with ladies and have picked up some feminine mannerisms and flamboyance (chicks dig that). As such, I get what one of my gay friends calls “fag-tagged” where folks assume I’m gay cos I’m comfortable and convivial with everyone (and cos I use words like “convivial”). That was the first part of the sign off.

The second part was about how many European and Asian men have a different standard of manhood not formed by American Cowboy stereotypes and are sometimes very flamboyant but still very heterosexual (Google “gay or European” and “gay or Asian” for some more background).

I was just trying to express appreciation for Ken and Dana’s non-stereotypical personas of manliness. Indeed, my kind of manliness. That was all (and you guys do argue like a couple of old queen sometimes, not that there’s anything wrong with that).

Apologies for drunk typing and keep up the good work! ~gerry

“Thats correct” <<<<best when said by Dana Snyder

  6. Dre Says:

This episode seemed a little slower than some of the ohters but you reminded of the Woodwright’s Shop and Today’s Special, so that more than made up for it.

Also I’m guessing the reason Plumey sprinted was food related. Sorry Plumes.

  7. SomeDouche Says:

listener number 1012, just wanted to say

for sure multitasking the podcasts, although working on power plant design not puppets.

and on a thought, I’ve not really watched the boosh on adult swim, although i’ve seen commercials and what not… i don’t get it. I think I’m just being biased against the live action adult swim kick, but either way it just seems like another british show where the cast has a competition to see who can wear the most make-up.

    love,
the guy who only caps some of his I’s

  8. Sid the squid Says:
