Dane is very funny, its amazing how many other comics dislike him or his comedy. I like his humor because its right in my age wheel house (teenager in the eighties). Props to him and his success.

Most of Dane’s acting is not very good but maybe he’ll get better with practice (or some training). He seems like a nice guy and is very much “this” generation. Jessica is beautiful, as always.

Hey Thanks for the Interview with Dane Cook. I have seen alot of his stand up. Its good to see him making a name for him self. The movie was good also, I would like to see him in more comedy’s.

His best work was the “Retaliation” CD. Haven’t checked the movie yet, but definitely can’t go wrong with Jessica Freaking Alba.

Yeah he did kinda start rambling off in the middle there. I’ve got to say that I have failed to see Dane Cook properly utilized in film. He was great in Waiting… but not so much in Employee of the Month. Which I will say is more likely the fault of the script than anything else.

Also I think the sign that you have truly made it as a Comedian is in the Album, the HBO Special, and the hit movies. The book just writes itself after that.

While I may not be Cook’s biggest fan, that was a great interview and he seems like a really grounded guy. It’s cool to read interviews with people who don’t buy into their own hype. Another great interview Chris!

Love him or hate him you cannot deny his success. He has certainly hit a nerve with folks… Now with the parodies I wonder if sour grapes play into it.
