This is my all time favorite show, the characters and storylines are vastly superior to just about any other comedic television show (live-action included). This isn’t just a cartoon, it is a whole mythology, with characters worth actually caring about (good guys and bad guys).

Once upon a time I was going through a real rough patch in my life, and this show helped me through it (as crazy as that sounds). The beauty of the show is that the universe is so complete, there are bits of dialogue referencing little bits of history and characterization spread over multiple episodes that are hilarious to the dedicated watcher (such as Mr. Mostly Mittens and the story of who secretly killed him lol). Foreshadowing is done to perfection. The density makes rewatching episodes extremely worth it, there is almost always some little minute detail to catch. Back about 4 years ago I was having a real hard time with a lot of personal stuff, and I discovered Vbros (late as always) and it just was really amazing, so I started buying DVD’s and renting and recording any new episodes. On good days I’d watch new episodes, on bad days I’d watch old episodes and see some little quirk I had completely missed the first time around, and then the bad day would be a better day because of it. Now that I’m in a better place I find myself sometimes rewatching random episodes in my odd time off and looking back and really appreciating what this show means to me.
